Gold Sprint is a race on rolls. Only 500 meters, in a few crazy seconds.
This Saturday took place in Fixerati the championship and it had as prize this BBB bicycle
(valued at 1300 €)
There were many fixie-lovers and a lot of bikes to enjoy the night with bikes, music and beers.
I won the two first series, but in the third I lost by a few tenths.
First serie: 23.59 seg
Second serie: 23.23
In the third serie I reached 23.03 but it wasn’t enought to win!
I didn’t feel my legs. I was really tired and it was very difficult to continue, because the top riders are very fast.
My legs were as hard as cardboard due to the previous day’s route (175 kms and 2880 meters, in Namur)

Overall it was a really nice experience. It’s been two years since I last rode a fixed-gear… very cool event!
