This will be a special post, because this time, there won’t be any villages, harbors, canals or castles.
It’s the time for a special forest, which turns into spring with flowering hyacinths and bluebells. Some really nice inside the birch forest.
It’s the Forest of Hal or Halle, also known as Blue Forest, a marvel. It deserves a post for itself.
Although spring has arrived suddenly, flowers are everywhere, and they are pretty of course, but I had never seen a forest like this before.
A few kms this time, only 55. Who cares.
A lot of photos, though!
Amazing pictures from the birch forest and a mantle of purple hyacinths.
Funny that it’s forbidden to take pictures of the flowers!
Really the ban is for walking off the path.
Enjoying the stillness of the forest, and hyacinths.
At floor level.
Bluebells.
And while taking photos of flowers… A mini-spider!
I need to force the macro setting.
Time to return from the bowels of the forest, and the underworld that it has at the height of the flowers.
Lucky to have known this petite corner of Belgium; so nice, and really near Brussels!
Thank you to BBB (Brussel Big Brackets), and Sunday’s rides for showing it to me.
Bonitas fotos. Aquí la primavera no termina de arrancar.
Pretty photos. Here, the spring doesn’t get to begin.
